Who is eligible to use Virtual Terminal?

SumUp’s virtual terminal feature can only be granted to qualifying merchants. Due to restrictions from our financial industry partners, not all businesses are eligible for Virtual Terminal.

How can I keep my business safe with Virtual Terminal?

The safety of your business is our priority. Because remote payments are considered riskier than in-person transactions, we may ask for a detailed receipt to minimize any chargebacks or financial losses that your business could incur. A good receipt should include credit card holder information, authorization from the card holder and an itemized list of the products/services provided. We don’t need this information at this time, but we may request it in the future.

What do I pay to use Virtual Terminal?

For every transaction with Virtual Terminal, we charge a flat transaction fee of 3.25% + $0.15. There are no other costs associated with using this service.
