How does inventory management work?
When you make a sale via your item catalog, the stock level of any items sold will automatically update. When the stock of an item reaches zero, it’ll be listed as "Sold out".
The stock level for untracked items will be set to infinite so they can never sell out.
Enable inventory management
On your SumUp profile, select the "Items" tab from the left-hand panel.
Select "Inventory" in the left navigation panel.
Use the "Enable tracking" toggle to switch inventory management on or off for particular items.
Enter the quantity of the item you have in stock and, optionally, amend the Stock Keeping Unit (SKU).
Click "Save" to confirm.
Tracking can also be enabled by using the item editor on your SumUp profile.
Restock items
On your SumUp profile, select the "Items" tab from the left-hand panel.
Select "Inventory" in the left navigation panel.
Click the pencil symbol by the item you want to edit.
Manually, adjust the stock of that item and click "Save" to confirm.
